There are literally loads of bars in downtown Arnhem, so you won’t fail to have a good time. There are two pubs that should not be missed, for their airborne atmosphere, The Pegasus and the Unibar.
Both these bars will be rammed to the rafters on the Arnhem weekend.
The Pegasus Pub Arnhem – Zwanenstraat 4, 6811DD Arnhem, is run by Nige Hinkin, Ex 3 Para….so imagine !!
The Unibar is run by the delightful Betty Hermsen (along with her husband Peter, of course). Betty is a massive supporter of the Airborne Forces. I first met her when she was placing a rose on the grave of a fallen airborne warrior. Not in Oosterbeeck Cemetry, but in Aldershot Military Cemetery!!
