Airborne Forces Riders (AFR) Membership
There are two types of Membership:
◾Rider:
Open to former or serving members of the Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces who has completed training and has served as a qualified Military Parachutist with British Airborne Forces, Air Assault, Airborne Brigade and/or Special Forces.
In order to be a current member, you must have joined the PRA as either a Full Member, Associate Member or Affiliate member. You must provide your PRA number to the AFR Branch Secretary either on request or on joining. Lifetime PRA membership is currently £7.50 and £5.00 for over 60s. Membership of the PRA provides AFR with a vetting process to confirm eligibility as a Rider.
If you have not provided your PRA membership number within 12 months of being requested by the AFR Branch Secretary, your name will be removed from the membership list.
If you have not paid subscriptions within the last 24 months from April to April, you will be removed from the membership list. This is to maintain a list of current and active members and enables the branch to comply with GDPR Regulations, holding data only of in-date membership. Riders whose membership has lapsed will be able to re-join at any time but must complete the application form on the website.
As a member, you are able to purchase Rider’s merchandise through the website.
Those who have paid current subscriptions are also eligible to vote at the AGM and to hold a committee position.
◾Supporter:

To join as a Supporter, you must be vouched for by a Rider.
